Hoje, finalmente, consegui ver o Paciente Inglês! Como definir o filme? Simples, num cenário de guerra, a segunda guerra mundial, surge-nos uma personagem que através das suas lembranças e de um livro com desenhos e fotografias, objecto de ligação às analepses constantes, nos dá conta da existência de memórias que tenta negar, mas que ainda assim se encontram sempre presentes na sua mente. Memórias essas que se centram na vivência de um amor escondido, fugaz, inesperado, que começa com calor intenso do deserto e termina com uma mensagem no escuro e uma promessa cumprida!

Parte Preferida:

O início da cena, em que eles se encontram ás escondidas, depois de ela simular um "desmaio", pelo sentido de atenção, cuidado, lentidão e intimidade concedidos àquele momento, e por ser o momento em que ele descobre o sentimento provocado pela ausência da Katharine!
